ABOUT ME

With a genuine passion for people and an empathetic approach in the process of healing, Ashley Beveridge, LMHC, places the utmost importance on her therapeutic relationships. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ashley has spent her years surrounded by the diverse cultural backgrounds that South Florida offers. As a result, Ashley strays from the “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy and is committed to treating each client in a way that best fits his/her individual needs.

Ashley is a master’s level clinician, having graduated from University of Miami’s Mental Health Counseling program after earning her B.S. in Psychology at Florida State University. Ashley has experience in treating an array of mental health issues including:

Ashley’s successful work with children, adolescents, and adults reflects her strong ability to understand and empathize with a wide range of presenting concerns. Ashley’s clients find her to be warm, compassionate, comforting, honest, nonjudgmental, trustworthy, and encouraging.

Ashley has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health agencies, intensive partial hospitalization programs, and private/group practices. Her experience as a therapist at South Miami Hospital’s Addiction Treatment & Recovery Center contributes to her extensive knowledge and understanding of the disease model of addiction. Ashley believes in a collaborative approach to therapy in which she and the client work together toward long lasting and effective change.
